THE GREAT HALL THEATRECOMPANY PRESENTS...Holmes And The Ripperby, Brian Clemens, Directed by Vic Young ••
Tuesday 1st to Saturday 5th May, 7.30pm
Matinée Saturday 5th May, 2.30pm
Tickets: £9; children 16 and under £6.
Box Office: 01603 598688 or on-line at:
www.greathall.ticketsource.co.uk
This play, based on Stephen Knight’s book ‘The Final Solution’, gave author Brian Clemens the opportunity to take the audience on a fantastic journey in a fast-moving dramatisation of one of the most plausible of Ripper theories, and with a mixture of drama, humour and fear he guides us towards Stephen Knight’s possible solution. As Holmes and Watson become embroiled in the grisly Whitechapel murders of 1888 we remember the names of his victims: Martha Tabram, Mary Ann Nicholls, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Beddows and Marie Jeanette Kelly. All are assured of a place in history, but the Ripper’s name remains in the shadows, from which he came.

Drawing is a dialogue between our thoughts and our experience of the real; it has as much

between the visible and the invisible."
Jo Hincks, Print Exhibition, •
When it Rains it Pours
These salt themed prints playfully conjure images and words
concerning the history of art, our social history and the vagaries of
weather. The strong black and white oversized pages create a
thoughtful sequence invoking ideas that relate to both specific idioms
within art and a personal history. With close attention to the images created by traditional linocut prints and contemporary typographic titles, ideas bounce back and forth from childhood, play, work, love and death.

Ori started to take pictures with his new Nikonos V, which was given to him by his father, and his dream was to take unique images of the depths that no-one had ever made or thought of.
After a few years spent improving his diving and photography skills and equipment, he finally started to capture the images he was dreaming about, and he has since toured the world searching for new images and adventures.
