A striking recommendation from Howes Percival Solicitors of Norwich
17 April 2008
"We are always pleased to support The Assembly House. We have held our Christmas Lunch in Ivory's Restaurant for the last 2 years and our Staff Summer Social event in the middle of June."
With two of the largest rooms available in the centre of Norwich with seating up to 300, the House is perfect for business or social events. Other smaller rooms are light, spacious and overlook the fountain and courtyard. Full Catering and a wide selection of equipment is available, with ample car parking and disabled access.
The Noverre is the largest room in the House, originally built as a ballroom by Frank Noverre, a descendant of the Swiss-born Jean-Georges Noverre, known as the "Shakespeare of Dance".
The Music Room is a favourite meeting place and conference room for prestige events thanks to its chandeliers and period architechture. It's conveniently situated in the centre of the building next to the Grand Hall (also available for registration or reception drinks). The capacity for the Music Room is 200 theatr style but also caters for up to 100 for a sit-down function. There is a small stage at the end of the room on which resides a Steinway Grand Piano. There is a hearing loop system installed and a P.A. system is available.
The Sir Edmund Bacon Room, the Kent Room, the Pierce Room and the Sexton Room are all smaller Georgian rooms on the first floor overlooking the front of the building and courtyard and can each accommodate up to 50 people.
We offer a full catering service with a wide choice of hot or cold menus, all of which can be personalised to your requirements.
Whatever the occasion, we have a selection of audio visual equipment available for hire. The Assembly House is a founder member of the Norwich & Norfolk Conference Bureau and a member of the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce.

.....thank you and all the staff at the Assembly House for your help in making our awards ceremony last night such a success. The Music Room was lovely; the food was excellent; and the staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Both the Chairman and I were very pleased by the way the evening turned out, and we received many positive comments from the guests. We hope to use the Assembly House again next year for the 2009 awards ceremony.
