The Pudding Parade: Puddings of Plenty

Thu 17th Sep 2026 - 7pm

As the days grow softer, the evenings turn golden and the hedgerows burst with berries, The Assembly House invites you to celebrate the season of plenty in the very best way of all: with a spectacular procession of puddings.

This is an ode to late summer’s generosity and autumn’s first whisper - warm, nostalgic, comforting and absolutely unapologetic in its love of carbs, custard and crumble.

Expect a feast that glows with the colours and flavours of harvest, all presided over by our esteemed Pudding Master David Clayton, who will lead you from soup to crumble to sticky toffee joy with theatrical flair and a harvest-sized helping of humour.

As always, there is no queuing: after the ceremonial parade, your table will be presented with its own selection of puddings, ready for you to try, savour, and eventually surrender to.
