Order The Assembly House’s award-winning afternoon tea to enjoy your way: at home, in the park, at the seaside or as a fabulous gift for someone special! Just take a look at our menus here and then call our friendly team on 01603 626402 to place your order.

Cakeaway Afternoon Tea costs £22.00 per adult and £14.95 for children aged under-12. The tea available will be the one being served in our restaurant at the time of your order, the photographs shown illustrate our current and our past Cakeaway Afternoon Teas.

Takeaways are available seven days a week and can be collected from 10am until noon from our reception area in the Grand Hall.

Enjoy delicious cakes from Head of Pastry Mark Mitson and his team, our famous sweet and savoury scones, dainty finger sandwiches and our range of tempting savouries.

Carefully packaged, your tea will be ready for collection at your designated time - please be aware that tea is delicate and needs to be transported with care. Please also note: there will be adaptations to the shot glass option from our restaurant tea in order to make it suitable for a takeaway service.

Why not add a pack of our famous Triple Chocolate Scones served with clotted cream and Nutella or a celebration birthday cake available in two sizes to your order?

We can adapt your tea to suit gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan diets and children’s teas are also available. You can order up to a month ahead: all payments will be taken at the time of ordering. Orders must be received before 5pm on the day before collection.
