Christmas Morning Magic

Awake on Christmas Day to discover a beautifully-curated gift bag full of locally-sourced treats delivered to your door and then join us in the Grand Hall for a glass of Norfolk's Flint Vineyard Charmat before heading into the heart of our Georgian wonderland for a freshly-cooked breakfast. If you’d prefer to stay tucked up in bed, we’ll bring your breakfast to you!

Spend your morning exactly as you wish: wander through Norwich’s fairy-lit streets, join St Peter Mancroft for a Christmas morning service or relax in your room until it’s time for the main event - your Christmas Day lunch served in our spectacular dining rooms, dressed to dazzle.

As evening falls and the House closes at 5pm, retreat to your room where you’ll find a generous hamper of Norfolk treats waiting - a local cheeseboard, charcuterie, Christmas cake, mince pies and more - for a festive feast in peace and privacy.

🎄 Boxing Day Bliss

Wake refreshed on Boxing Day and join us for a final indulgence: a celebratory breakfast served between 8.30am and 10am, before you bid a fond farewell to the House, your heart full and your stockings brimming with memories.

Prices start from £895 per couple sharing one of our stunning rooms. Why not extend the magic? Add an extra night on December 23 or 26 from just £175 per room.

✨ To reserve your Christmas stay, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. The balance must be paid in full by Friday 14 November. Should you need to cancel after this date, we will do our best to re-sell your room. If we’re unable to do so, the full payment will be retained.

Terms and Conditions:

Restaurant A maximum of 10 people for festive afternoon tea in the restaurant. Private rooms available or larger groups. Bookings can be made for this and our other restaurant menu at www.assemblyhousenorwich.co.uk or by calling 01603 626402.

Private Dining Minimum numbers for individual rooms apply. A provisional booking for a private room can be held for a maximum of 14 days, after which time we require a £250 deposit and a signed event contract to secure the booking. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. The estimated final invoice will be issued one month prior to the event and is payable in full two weeks prior to the event date. The balance of any other charges will be invoiced after the event and must be paid within seven days of the invoice date. Igloo require a deposit at the time of booking.

Igloos Bookings are by phone only: 01603 626402, open 9am–5pm. All bookings require a non-refundable deposit: £100 for Beforenoon or Afternoon Tea, £150 for Après-Ski evenings. Full payment (non-refundable) is due two weeks before your booking. We are unable to accommodate wheelchairs, prams or pushchairs in the igloos due to space and serving issues. If you cancel and we are able to resell your slot, a £25 admin fee will be retained from your deposit. If we are unable to resell, the full deposit is non-refundable

Christmas Day A £50 per person deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. The full balance is due by no later than Friday 24th November. Should you need to cancel your booking after this time, we will make every effort to re sell your table. If we are unable to do this, all monies will be retained.

Christmas events Full payment is to be made at the time of booking. Visit our website to book all these events or call us on 01603 626402. Bookings for these events are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Bedrooms Bookings for bedrooms or our shop and stay breaks must be paid in advance.

Christmas Day Stay, 2 nights A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable The full balance is due by no later than Friday 21st November. Should you need to cancel your booking after this time, we will make every effort to re-sell your room. If we are unable to do this, all monies will be retained.

The Assembly House reserves the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances, such as severe weather conditions, power outages, health and safety concerns, equipment failures, Government regulations, natural disasters and technical errors. The Assembly House management also reserves the right to relocate, refuse, cancel or close a booking as they deem appropriate. In the rare event this occurs, we will inform you as soon as possible and work with you to find an alternative solution or offer a full refund.
