Something wicked this way comes…The Assembly House is hosting a murder mystery night after darkness falls with a delicious Gin Rickey cocktail and canapé reception in the Grand Hall, a sumptuous three-course dinner in the beautiful Music Room and a night of frighteningly good immersive theatre as you dine.

Theatre company Dreamstone Productions has created an Assembly House-themed murder mystery based on the history of the House, guaranteeing a night of thrills, chills and at least one kill on a March evening at Norwich’s most glittering address. Dare you join us for the event of the season?

Date: Saturday March 9 2024. Arrive at 7pm for a Gin Rickey and canapés on arrival, dinner will be served at 7.30pm and the finale takes place at 9.30pm.

🩸The plot…

It is 1923 and Norwich, once known as the Rose of New England, has become a thorn in the side of Prohibition Bureau boss Dan ‘The Man’ Cappuccino. Norwich’s Assembly House has been targeted by Mob Boss ‘Fat Stan’, who is now running it as an illegal after-hours Speakeasy.

You are invited to attend one of Stan’s ‘parties’. Do you dare go? Rival gang members might show up and will you dodge a police raid? What is the connection between Dan and Stan - each other’s nemesis; so different, yet oddly similar… Even dancing girls are not always what they seem!

Join us for a guaranteed riotously killer evening – 1920s dress and bad American accents encouraged but certainly not compulsory!
