Create the perfect poppy in a pot at our magical workshop with Meg Lowder at one of our special Crafternoon Tea sessions!

Whether enjoying a soothing sight of a dancing field of poppies or wearing one with pride to remember those we have lost, this is your chance to celebrate the perfection of poppies!

Meg from Floragami returns to The Assembly House to guide you though an immersive half-day in the world of paper flowers.

Both vibrant and calming, the Saturday session from 10am to 2pm guide you through a creative, calm session to help you make your own bright and beautiful paper poppy which you can take home in a pot.

You choose the colour of the flower and the pot, and the rest is down to your own imagination.

No experience is necessary. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a peaceful relaxing morning crafting on communal tables with like-minded souls.

Afterwards, you can also enjoy one of our Indulgent Cream Teas with the other participants. Choose from:

🍓Traditional Cream Tea with two afternoon-tea sized fruit scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam served with a large pot of our Assembly House Afternoon Blend Tea

🧀 Savoury Tea with two Cheddar, Colman’s Mustard and chive scones, Norfolk Dapple cheese and Bramley apple chutney, served with a large pot of tea

🍫 Chocolate Cream Tea with two triple chocolate scones, served warm with Nutella and clotted cream, plus a homemade hot chocolate laced with hazelnut syrup and topped with whipped cream

💖 Pink Cream Tea with two plain pink scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam, served with a large pot of our Assembly House Afternoon Blend Tea

Limited places available. This class is suitable for ages 16 and up. Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult. You will be seated on large communal crafting tables.
