Create your own life-like wild rose in a relaxed morning of crafting.

They are the ultimate symbol of immortal love. Legend has it the first rose bush grew within a pool of spilled blood from Adonis, the lover of Aphrodite.

Since that story, the wild rose has represented a love that never fades and is with us for ever.

Meg from Floragami is back at the Assembly House with a workshop that celebrates the bloom.

In this half-day workshop from 10am to 2pm, you will learn how to turn hand-dyed creped paper into a life-like bloom, bud and spray of leaves.

If you have never crafted before, don’t worry. Meg will guide you through what to do in a relaxed way which stimulates your creativity in a calm and relaxed way.

This is a chance to spend a morning forgetting about the rush of your routine and just enjoy creating something peacefully for yourself.

During the workshop, you can also enjoy one of our Cream Teas alongside everyone else taking part.
