This Christmas, step into a world of wonder beneath the stars, as our magical igloos return to the lawn at The Assembly House.

Framed by twinkling trees and the glow of fairy lights, these elegant snow globes offer a private dining experience unlike any other. Whether it’s brunch with baubles, fondue by fairy light or afternoon tea with tinsel, this is Norfolk’s most spellbinding festive celebration.

Gather your favourite people in your own heated hideaway and celebrate the season in style. Each igloo is yours alone to enjoy for up to 10 guests, complete with music, warmth and your own dedicated team.

Bookings are by phone only: 01603 626402, open 9am–5pm. We will answer calls as quickly as possible, calling at 9am does not guarantee you the booking slot you would like.
All bookings require a non-refundable deposit:

£100 for Beforenoon or Afternoon Tea

£150 for Après-Ski evenings

Full payment (non-refundable) is due 21 days before your booking.

📅 Important to know

Igloos sell out fast: weekends are often fully-booked by the end of June

Minimum numbers apply for each service - please check before calling

There is no availability for Après-Ski sessions on Christmas Eve or Boxing Day

Igloos are closed on Christmas Day

We are unable to accommodate wheelchairs, prams or pushchairs in the igloos due to space and serving issues

If you cancel and we are able to resell your slot, a £25 admin fee will be retained from your deposit. If we are unable to resell, the full deposit is non-refundable

Afternoon Tea can be swapped for Afternoon Cheese (same price). We’re afraid Afternoon Sea cannot be offered in the igloos

We are unable to offer gluten-free options for our Après-Ski evenings due to cross-contamination issues. Please let us know about any dietary requirements, allergies or intolerances at the time of booking so our kitchen team can prepare safely and ensure we can look after you properly. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate gluten-free or allergy-related requests that we have not been informed about in advance. If guests arrive with dietary requirements we were unaware of when the booking was made, we may be unable to serve them and no refund will be available.

Your own private Winter Wonderland

Each igloo is heated and fully enclosed with clear panels to keep out the chill and let in the magic. With room for up to 10 guests, you’ll enjoy:

Four ways to celebrate

🎁 Festive Beforenoon Tea

Available: 9.30am – 11.30am

A breakfast twist on our award-winning Afternoon Tea. Start your day in a sunrise igloo with magic, laughter and a breakfast cocktail or mocktail. Only available at weekends £40 per adult | £26 per child

Includes igloo hire and drinks

£100 deposit required

Only available on Saturdays and Sundays and all days from December 18 to 24.

Minimum numbers 6 people

🫖 Christmas Afternoon Tea

Available: 12.30pm – 2.30pm

Expect the return of Twas the Night Before Christmas Afternoon Tea (with a few new twists!) served in the most enchanting setting. Full menus will be released later in the year.

£48 per adult | £30 per child

Includes a glass of mulled wine or spiced apple juice and igloo hire

£100 deposit required

Minimum 6, maximum 10 guests

🌙 Twilight Christmas Afternoon Tea

Available: 3.00pm – 5.30pm

The fairy lights flicker, the fun flows, and you’re wrapped in festive warmth as day turns to night in your own glowing dome.

£48 per adult | £30 per child

Includes a glass of mulled wine or spiced apple juice and igloo hire

Minimum 6, maximum 10 guests

⛷️ After Dark: Après-Ski in an Igloo

Available: 6.30pm – 9.30pm

A fondue feast straight from the slopes - Norfolk style. Share ski-lodge classics, raise your glasses to a night to remember and soak in the alpine atmosphere. We are unable to cater for gluten-free diners for this service. Please let us know about any dietary requirements, allergies or intolerances at the time of booking so our kitchen team can prepare safely and ensure we can look after you properly. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate gluten-free or allergy-related requests that we have not been informed about in advance. If guests arrive with dietary requirements we were unaware of when the booking was made, we may be unable to serve them and no refund will be available.

Terms and Conditions:

The Assembly House reserves the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances, such as severe weather conditions, power outages, health and safety concerns, equipment failures, Government regulations, natural disasters and technical errors. The Assembly House management also reserves the right to relocate, refuse, cancel or close a booking as they deem appropriate. In the rare event this occurs, we will inform you as soon as possible and work with you to find an alternative solution or offer a full refund.
