Room 15 sits high in the West Wing and makes the most of it.

Perched on the second floor, this jewel box of a room is wrapped in English Heritage approved Georgian shades, with confident pinks and greens that feel both historic and deliciously bold. It is bright, characterful and quietly tucked away from the everyday.

Triple aspect windows mean light pours in from three sides, revealing sweeping views over the Noverre Garden, our courtyard and fountain, and the rooftops of Norwich city centre. From up here, the city feels cinematic.

At the heart of the airy living space is a four poster double bed measuring 6ft 3in by 4ft 6in, dressed in luxurious bedding. Around it, you will find antique furniture, original artwork, etched mirrors, decorative plates and a pink velvet chair that invites lingering.

The en suite bathroom features a generous drench shower in a space filled with quirky detail.

Designed by acclaimed interior designer Annabel Grey, Room 15 embraces the Georgian love of vibrant colour and layered decoration.

Good to know before you arrive

• Second floor location in the West Wing. There is one flight of stairs to reach Room 15 and no lift
• The West Wing is a short 30 second walk across the courtyard from reception
• After checking in at reception, there is a short one minute walk outside to reach this accommodation area. If you arrive before 5pm, a team member will show you to your suite
• Check in from 3pm. Arriving after 5pm? Let us know and we will explain our simple lock box system
• Check out at 11am. Late check out may be available for a small supplement
• The Assembly House closes at 5pm unless open for an evening event. There is no communal bar or lounge for overnight guests
• Our restaurant is not open in the evenings other than for functions
• Parking is not included. Please see our Accessibility page for parking and public transport information. If you are able to find a space in the car park to the rear of The Assembly House, we can offer a £10 overnight ticket to cover your stay, please speak to the reception team when you book in before 5pm
